I just want to thank you for the extraordinary care you gave us during the unprecedented rain last week. Even though our trek got cancelled, we made great friendships for life. I especially want to thank Sree Chand Rana for his amazing leadership, always thinking of our safety and making sure we were comfortable even when our whole campsite got submerged under the river. He took us safely across the landslide before Tehri with so much assurance and positive attitude. He is definitely a great asset for your company. In fact, instead of being afraid to venture out after this experience, I feel more than compelled to trek with you again.
We completed our trek to KedarTal (also known as Shiva's lake) is a glacial lake situated at an altitude of 4,750m (15,600 feet) in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas in India. Trek leader for this trek was Sri Chand Rana. Sri Chand is very experienced with high altitude treks with close to 20-25 treks every season. He is well versed with the terrain as well as weather in Garwhal and Kamau region. I especially want to thank Sree Chand Rana for his amazing leadership, always thinking of our safety and making sure we were comfortable even. He took us safely across the landslide zone while on our way to KedarTal with so much assurance and positive attitude.
He is definitely a great asset on any trek.
(malavika.mathur@gmail.com) Lahaul – Spiti could not have been more enticing without the fabulous experience provided by the two Wanderer Boys Hrishi & Shri. For a first time trekker like me the expedition was like “ A walk in Paradise”. A short but the most memorable trip began with the meticulous direction provided to me to prepare myself for this exquisite vacation. From providing guidance on packing the essentials required for the trip to the fitness regime prescribed by the Wanderer Boys helped me acclimatize in the high altitudes of the region at sub zero degree temperatures at night. With accomodation arrangements in Homestays in the villages and in the Guest rooms of the Monastries the Wanderer Boys trip planner added a unique experience to the overall trip. This arrangement enabled interactions with the locals to absorb their warmth and hospitality, their local food & their culture that invoked a refreshing experience. “Jullay” or Thank you in Spiti to the Wanderer Boys – Hrishi & Shri for making this trip special, one that I would certainly cherish for a lifetime. Signing off as I yearn for more of such awe-inspiring treks.
"Sri was our guide on a 5 day trek from Gangotri to Tapovan (visiting the source of the Ganges). Personally for myself and my partner, this was a very difficult trek, having not experienced higher altitudes before, but Sri was excellent and went at our pace, helping us at every step of the journey. Excellent English and a very engaging and likeable personality. We hope to use Sri again in the future when we venture back to the breath taking Himalayas."
We have had the most wonderful experience on this beautiful trek to Har-ki-Dun in November 2014. It was very professionally conducted. All our needs were taken care off by your very able manager Srichand and and his crew. We will have no hesitation in recommending your company to our friends who want to trek.
Thanking you,
Mohan and Vishal
It was a first trek for me in the Himalayas. Your help and instructions made me understand the trek & I really enjoyed the trip. Food provided was tasty and on-time always. I would love to visit the Himalayas again with Wanderland Adventures. Thanks for all the services... (Netra Reddy - Roopkund Trek 2014)
I had only heard of 'WanderLand Adventures' breathtaking treks to the Himalayas but now I have bitten into their magic by taking up their winter trek experience to the Deorital- Chopta belt last month!
I gathered up my guts to take up this winter trek all thanks to Rishi. He made me believe that it is possible and guided me throughout right from packing the right essentials, trek tips etc. Another most important person we came across on the trek was the guide- Shri. When we got to the base called the 'Sari Village', we got information that trekking upto Chopta would not be possible due to heavy snowfall. Shri believed in us and vice versa, and eventually we managed to reach Chopta! It felt we were lost amidst the clouds and the mighty snow clad peaks gazing at you! It wasnt just about trekking the summit for me but also the overall experience at Wanderland.
The food served to us was extraordinary as everything was cooked fresh by our friend chef. Before we would leave for the trek, our lunch was ziplocked individually for us. Every evening as a mandate, rishi and shri ensured we had the bonfire to us. Playing taboo, karaoke etc, sipping on hot piping soup & losing yourself among a gazillion stars! Our stay was extraordinary as we got the opportunity to pitch our own tent facing the valley.
I would say it with pride- The Himalayas is now my friend. I have promised myself to take up atleast one if not two treks with Wanderland every year. Thank you Rishi, Shri, our friend chef, fabulous driver and the 'Mad Chopta Gang' for making this the most unforgettable memories in my life :)
Usually the travels that I have been doing are a result of last minute backpacking unlike this frozen ice walk expedition where I had the wonderful fortune to stumble upon Wanderland Adventures, which has left me wonderstruck by the majestic Himalayas. Reading as much and knowing the extent of challenges that were supposed to be there, it took me definitely some amount of steel guts to arrive on a ‘yes’. Never knew though it would turn out so organized , planned and sorted. I was unbelievably hand held at bitter subzero temperature hits. Taking from the first day of acclimatization to the last synced-in day, the 8N/9D towerless life was beguiling. The guidance from the packing essentials, right gears to the minutest of the temperature tips. Enjoying the fresh authentic ladakhi cuisines at their land, made by the dear chef Tenzing, three times a day were bliss. Each night, as a compulsion our guides used to check our sleeping bags, tent closures, hot water availability, medical requirements and much more. Continuous medicinal help, recharge meals between the trek, proper walk and gear training were all a part of the brilliant hospitality. The group became like a family by the end of the trek. The camp fire night at Rumtse with the team, some local alcohol and a lot of dance turned out to be a cherry on top.
I couldn’t have had a more comfortable and memorable trip than this one, my idea for Himalayan adventures is even more streamlined after this. All regards to Wanderland Adventures! (Indus, Frozen River Trek, Feb 2015)
Our Kuari pass trek was nothing less of spectacular! It was our first Himalayan trek and it lived up to its expectations. One cannot be disappointed with the scenic, majestic and mighty Himalayas. Our guide, Sreechandji, was a experienced mountaineer and his love and passion of climbing set quite the tone for this trek. We felt prepared and always safe (although there was no reason to feel unsafe). We experienced all four seasons in one day - such is the unforgiving Himalayas, but it only added to the fun. I wasn't expecting luxury but I was so impressed that each day we were served with quite the spread of breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had omelettes, veg sandwiches, porridge,Chinese, pasta - delicious food at 10000 feet!! We are super impressed by the friendly staff and all the planning done by Wanderland adventures. Its a holiday everyone must experience. Infact we're already thinking about our next trip! Thank you Wanderland for this once in a lifetime experience - you guys are incredible!
I had an amazing time on my trek to HarkiDun. Had it not been for the patience and care of my trek leader Shri the trek would have been nearly impossible to complete? I am a novice with quite a few lbs/kgs, that usually is not suitable for this kind of trek, but Shri helped me see it through to HarkiDun and back to Sankri. In fact, I lost 7kgs/15lbs during the 5-day trek. So, thank you Shri!

Dear Shri chand,
Thank you so much for the fantastic trek that you took us on. I don't have words to describe my experience. Not only was the trek more beautiful than words can describe but your crew was one of the best ones can hope to have. Your expertise was very apparent in the way you navigated through the trek. The tents, the hygiene, the equipment etc. clearly indicated your experience and expertise. Your crew of Kushal and Mohan was fantastic. They were polite, courteous, helpful and affectionate. You all became a part of our family during this trip. We will treasure those memories and will try to do much more treks with you. God bless you all. With deep gratitude and affection! Dear shri chand,
I completely agree with my wife's views. This was a great experience- we enjoyed our trek. You and your team did a phenomenal job in taking care of all of us in a very professional way. Suffice to say that, if we need to do a trek again with you, we will be most happy to do so.
God bless you and your team.

I want to thank Shrichand and his Wanderland Adventure Crew for leading us on the Chopta-Tunganath Trek in October 2016. At the end of the trek, our itinerary even included white water rafting on the Ganges. Everything was very well planned and organized. As we reside at sea level in the USA, the high altitude of the Himalayas was challenging for us and kept us at a slow pace. Shrichand & crew were patient & encouraging. The beautiful views & peaceful atmosphere were well worth the effort! The entire crew was pleasant & professional. The camping equipment provided was comfortable & of high quality. The food was wonderful. I did not expect do have homemade chocolate cake while camping in the Himalayas! The list of essentials from the website was perfect for our needs. When we return to India, we will definitely trek with Shrichand & Wanderland again,

First off, a big thank you to Shrichand and the team for a wonderful experience overall! My family and I had a terrific time and the trip surpassed our expectations. Shri was wonderful to work with, as were Hukum Singh and Mukesh. We felt safe at all times and the crew always took care to ensure that all our needs were met.
1. The hike routes were wonderful and it felt like we lived in postcards for a good 3-4 days.
2. The food was terrific! It was impressive to have both variety and high quality in the food served to us. Not something we have experienced in the past on a "camping" trip!
3. Shri and the crew were wonderful to work with. We were particularly happy that there was a strong sense of environmental consciousness in everything we did.
